3. Who is eligible to use Apple Pay with ADIB Egypt?
Any ADIB Egypt Covered Card or Debit Card holder with an active card can add their card to Apple Pay.

4. How do I add my ADIB Egypt card to Apple Pay?
- Through ADIB Egypt Mobile Banking Egypt App: choose the card you want to add to Apple Wallet by clicking the “Add to Apple Wallet” button and proceed with the steps that follow.
- Directly through Apple Wallet: scan the front of the card using the camera or enter the card details manually then follow the on-screen instructions to activate.
- Tap '+' inside Apple Wallet and select ADIB Egypt mobile banking application icon. Once you sign in with your Mobile Banking credentials, your available cards will appear automatically for immediate setup.

5. Can I add my ADIB Egypt card to my Apple Watch?
Yes. Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone, go to Wallet & Apple Pay, tap “Add Card,” and follow the same steps used to add a card to your iPhone.

6. What should I do if I get an “Invalid Card Data” message?
Double-check that the card number, expiry date, and CVV were entered correctly, and that the card is active and not expired. If the issue persists, contact ADIB Egypt Call center.

7. Why was I asked to enter an OTP while adding my card?
This is a security step to confirm that you are the cardholder. Enter the one-time password (OTP) sent to your registered mobile number to complete the verification

8. Can I pause the verification and finish adding my card later?
Yes. You can exit the setup process at any time and resume it later from the Wallet app; you will need to restart the verification step.

9. How do I pay using Apple Pay?
On iPhone or Apple Watch, double-click the side button and authenticate with Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode, then hold your device near the payment terminal. For in-app or online purchases, select Apple Pay at checkout and confirm with Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode.

10. Do I need to enter my card PIN when using Apple Pay?
No. Apple Pay replaces your card PIN with device authentication (Face ID, Touch ID, or passcode). Some merchants may still request PIN entry for high-value transactions per card scheme rules.

11. How do I choose which card is used by default?

14. Can I use Apple Pay for ATM withdrawals?
No. Apple Pay currently supports purchases in stores, in apps, and online. ATM cash withdrawals still require your physical card.

15. Can I view my recent Apple Pay transactions on my device?
Yes. Open the Wallet app, select your card, and tap “Transactions” to view recent activity. This also appears in your statement.

16. How secure is Apple Pay?
Apple Pay is designed to be safer than a physical card. Your actual card number is never stored on your device or shared with merchants; instead, a unique device-specific number is used, and every transaction requires authentication.

17. What should I do if my phone is lost or stolen?
Use Find My iPhone to mark the device as lost, which suspends Apple Pay on it, or contact ADIB Egypt Call center immediately to have your cards suspended.

18. What should I do if my physical card is lost or stolen?
Contact ADIB Egypt call center immediately to block your card. Note that blocking your physical card does not automatically remove it from Apple Pay; you should also remove it from the Wallet app.

19. How do I remove a card from Apple Pay?
In the Wallet app, tap your card, then tap the “...” icon and select “Remove Card.”

20. Will my card transfer automatically if I switch to a new device?
If you set up your new device using an iCloud backup, your cards may appear in Wallet automatically, but you will need to re-verify each card before it can be used. Otherwise, add your card manually on the new device.

21. A payment shows as successful on my phone but was declined at checkout, or I need a refund. What should I do?
If a payment appears successful on your device but the merchant reports a decline, do not attempt a second payment until you confirm with the merchant, as duplicate charges can occur. For Apple Pay refunds, the amount is credited back to the same ADIB Egypt card used for the original transaction, following your card's normal refund timelines.
